Why Self-Investment Matters
There are two big things going on this week at GCF and both revolve around the courage it takes to invest in yourself.
On Monday, I'm launching a new version of my coaching program. It's chock-full of all the neuroscience, Jesus-love, mindset practice, and body-wisdom that I know helps people get unstuck and on purpose.
We've got six amazing women in the program, who are all ready to believe they are capable of living the potential God gave them.
But common to all six of them was FEAR of making the investment. Nonetheless, they took a deep breath and did it anyway.
Bravo.
The commitment is exciting because it sets into motion so many magical, unforeseen things, but as ever, I get to go first, which leads me to the second thing.
Fun Fact: As we age, our teeth migrate to the front of our mouths. This has been happening to me for years and it's annoying and now somewhat painful.
I've wanted to fix it (with Invisalign) for a long time, but there was always something "better" to do with the money.
Before Christmas, I decided I was worth the investment and on Thursday it's happening.
If you ever struggle to love others like you love yourself, as Jesus commands, maybe it's because you don't love yourself very well.
Understand, if you're always putting yourself last - from your transformation to your teeth - you will eventually find yourself stuck, disappointed and resentful.
When we believe we are worth investing in and act accordingly, we grow. Our cup fills back up and eventually, it overflows, spilling and splashing goodness on the people around us.
Thatโs the goal of living on purpose.
I promise I won't feed you something I'm not eating myself, so Invisalign and Meaning of Midlife Firegirls here we go!
