Time to Move Our Feet

Back in the day, when I was young and fearless, I used to start (break) young horses. When climbing on a young horse for the first time, the same thing usually happens. You're tense. They're tense. They freeze.

You can see it in their wide-eyes and feel the fear raging through their bodies, then after a minute they will either move off at a decent pace, move off a pace neither of you feels good about, and/or they will buck.

The latter is pretty unpleasant.

Sometimes people try to prevent this by picking up the reins, attempting to steer through an outcome that hasn't happened yet, and the colt who is still frozen in place will just swing his head side to side.

The hard truth is you can't steer a horse that won't move his feet. You have to get him moving first, come what may and that's what scares people...the bucking unknown.

Right now, some of you are sitting on a young, scared horse and pulling its head around trying to control an outcome that hasn't happened yet.

You have to know that your fear is keeping you from your potential.

Some of you have been sitting up there for years, making all sorts of excuses for why today's not the day to go forward. Aren't you tired of that? Aren't you tired of being jealous of other women who are living outrageously brave and interesting lives, creating things that matter to them, and contributing to the world?

What if, to become one of them, all you have to do is make the decision to dig your spurs in and just go - come what may?

This is the art and magic of living on purpose. This is what we teach at Girl Catch Fire - how to get unstuck and on purpose so you can start building your second-half dream project, venture, or business.

So what are you waiting for? To not feel fear anymore? Forget it. Fear is a companion on this journey and you absolutely need it. So why not dig your spurs in, right now, and begin the ride of your life?

Book a call with me and we can talk about how.
