I’m writing about this because before watching The Social Dilemma I unplugged from about 80% of my regular FB/Insta/Google time. I missed nothing, I felt better and was freer than I’d been in a long time, but I couldn’t articulate exactly why and how.
The Social Dilemma articulates both clearly. It’s intelligent and authoritative because it features the only real authorities there are - the people who built the tech.

Yesterday, I said to her, “Ok don’t freak out but I have something I want to do.”
Then I remembered KJ doesn’t freak out - ever. I’m the freak-out artist and I need a rock, a builder, a believer; someone who will say yes to the right things and no to the dumb things. She is all that and more.
“I want to do a life-coaching surf retreat in Costa Rica next spring,” I said.
“Cool. Do you want me to start figuring that out.”
