Definitions and Interpretation

The following Booking Conditions together with the general information contained on our website form the basis of the contract with the Client (the person who completes the booking form as party leader and includes all persons on whose behalf the retreat is booked) and the directors of Girl Catch Fire LLC (GCF) of 1507 E. Belmont Street Pensacola, Florida 32501. It is the Client’s responsibility to read the Booking Conditions before making a reservation.

Terms of Payment

A $1000 deposit or full payment must be made at the time of registration to secure your space unless prior arrangements have been made. The balance for the 2023 Chamonix Firegirl Retreat is due no later than March 16th, 2023.

Dates, Times, and Details:

The 2023 Chamonix Firegirl Retreat begins around noon 6/17 and finishes around 10 am 6/22. Please make your travel arrangements accordingly. No early arrivals or late stays can be accommodated.

Please note the starting and ending times of the retreat and make your travel arrangements accordingly. You are responsible for your own travel to Geneva or other European airports. We are hiring a van to deliver participants from the Geneva airport on Saturday 6/17 at approximately 11 am. A return to the Geneva airport will leave Chamonix around 10 am 6/22. Please let us know if you’d like to participate in this service.

Alteration or Cancellation by the Client:

Should the Client wish to make any changes to the confirmed event, the Client must notify GCF as soon as possible in writing by email. Where an alteration can be accommodated, an amendment fee of $50 may be payable together with any costs incurred by GCF. Cancellation must be made in writing by email or by phone and will be effective when it is received by GCF.

Cancellation Fees will apply as follows (as a percentage of reservation cost) including deposits:

0 - 60 days before arrival - 100% cancellation fee. (No refunds)
61 - 90 days before arrival - 30% cancellation fee.
91 - 180 days before arrival - No cancellation fee.

Alteration or Cancellation by Girl Catch Fire

In the unlikely event that GCF must alter or cancel a scheduled event, we reserve the right to do so. The client will be offered compensation or a full refund unless the alteration or cancellation is a result of “Force Majeure”. Such events may include war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, actual or threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire, and all similar events outside our control.

Damage and Nuisance by the Client

Girl Catch Fire LLC reserves the right to refuse a booking for any client or terminate, at any time, the booking of any Client whose behavior is considered detrimental to the event or other participants, its clients, or any third party, and no further contractual obligations will apply.

Girl Catch Fire LLC also reserves the right to cancel any booking where the information provided by the Client is deemed inaccurate or detrimental or by a refusal to comply with these terms and conditions.

Girl Catch Fire LLC provides life-coaching services, and its events are not considered therapeutic environments. If you are in crisis or experiencing challenging mental health issues, please seek proper medical care.

Limitation of Liability

In the event that Girl Catch Fire LLC is found liable on any basis whatsoever our maximum liability to the Client is the cost of the booking in question. Any contract between the Client and GCF will be governed in all respects by US and International law.

Privacy Policy

At Girl Catch Fire, we believe being able to trust your environment and the people in it, is a critical first step for speaking honestly about where you've been and where you're going.

To that end, we commit to keeping your confidence by not sharing with anybody what you tell us without your permission, and we ask that you do the same with one another.

Specifically, yes, please talk about the event and what it meant to you, but please don't share what anybody said there, without that person's permission. It also means respecting people's willingness to be honest and vulnerable within the group. We know we might not agree on everything, but...

Can we agree that listening and discretion are acts of love?

Additionally, events sponsored by Girl Catch Fire are not therapeutic environments, and licensed therapists are not present. Should you need a therapist, we are happy to refer you.

If at any time you mention, even in confidence, a plan to hurt yourself, someone else or you are plotting a crime, we will notify the proper authorities, as required by law.
